Seiko makes a reasonably cool wall clock styled like its basic Speedtimer wristwatch dial.
The Shelby II “Speedtimer” Wall Clock is available in black metallic dial or white and black metallic dial variations and relies on the aesthetics of the wristwatches — which are available quartz, photo voltaic quartz, and mechanical variations — although the clock is pushed by battery-powered quartz motion.
As an alternative of the Speedtimer’s typical wristwatch chronograph capabilities, the clock subdials show the temperature, humidity, and seconds. The latter is a non-ticking seconds indicator, that means will probably be silent, which advantages those that don’t wish to hear a loud ticking sound.
Measuring 13″ (330.2 mm) by 2″ (50.8 mm) the clock is encased in a brushed aluminum housing with a plastic again. It takes two AA batteries. A plastic glass entrance protects the dial. Apparently, the arms and hour markers have been painted with lume so you may see the clock even at the hours of darkness, which is a helpful characteristic.
Retail is at the moment $149 for the white panda dial and $134 for the black, on Amazon.
