Ahead of the Las Vegas F1 Night time Race on Saturday, Franck Muller unveiled a restricted version Loopy Hours timepiece.

The Vanguard Loopy Hours Vegas Racing is introduced in Franck Muller’s signature 44 mm x 53.7 mm curved tonneau-shaped case, product of 150 layers of light-weight Aerospace-grade compressed carbon, with high-strength Ergal aluminum alloy inserts.

Beneath the curved sapphire crystal is a skeletonized dial with vividly coloured hour numerals, accented with Vegas-inspired card motifs within the middle ring. The time-only watch shows minutes in a typical manner with the minute hand circling the dial in a clockwise movement and pointing to the chapter ring.

Uniquely, the hour markers are configured in a non-sequential “loopy” order, and that is the place Franck Muller has cleverly engineered the hand to leap to the proper sequential hour marker, regardless of being displayed out of order — creating one thing enjoyable to observe on the dial proper earlier than every flip of the hour.

Powering the hours and minutes is an outsourced automated motion with 42 hours of energy reserve that has been personalized, completed, assembled, and adjusted in-house — with Franck Muller’s in-house “Loopy Hours” module added on high.

A curved sapphire crystal that matches the ergonomics of the case gives a view of the mechanics and is adorned with enjoying card motifs as an homage to the placement of the 2024 Las Vegas F1 Night time Race.

The Vanguard Loopy Hours Vegas Racing (Ref. V45 CH SQT RCG VEGAS CBER) is waterproof to 30 meters and is restricted to 77 individually numbered items.

Retail is $37,500.
