LVMH shareholders on Thursday voted to permit Bernard Arnault, 76, to stay on the helm of the world’s largest luxurious group till he’s 85.
The shareholders accepted a change to firm bylaws that raises the utmost age of its chairman and chief govt officer from 80 in a decision that handed with 99.18 % of the vote.
The utmost age was already elevated from 75 in 2022.
Arnault, who’s CEO, chairman and — alongside along with his household — controlling shareholder of LVMH, constructed his sprawling empire spanning style homes, inns and cognac by means of acquisitions.
