Today, Panerai unveiled two additions to its Submersible Marina Militare collection.
One in stainless steel, the Submersible Marina Militare (Ref. PAM01697), and the other in forged carbon, the Submersible Marina Militare Carbotech (Ref. PAM01698). These watches are a tribute to Panerai’s deep-rooted partnership with the Italian Navy, embodying a blend of history and cutting-edge design.
Inspired by Italian Naval Heritage
The Submersible Marina Militare timepieces feature captivating designs that evoke the rugged spirit of the Italian Navy. Sporting green matte dials with a subtle black fade, these watches are suited for both style and functionality. The grey luminous markings are inspired by the colors of the navy’s planes, facilitating easy reading even in low-light conditions.
Both models offer exceptional water resistance up to 300 meters, ensuring they can endure any maritime adventure. Additionally, they come equipped with durable green canvas straps, complete with distinctive T/T stitching reminiscent of military uniforms, plus an extra black rubber strap for enhanced versatility. Whether paired with a rugged outfit or formal wear, the Submersible Marina Militare collection is designed with the modern explorer in mind.
With a diameter of 44 mm x 13.45 mm (steel) and 14.25 mm (forged carbon) and solid casebacks, each watch is powered by a 23-jewel, 4Hz automatic caliber P.900, which drives hours, minutes, small seconds, and date function, with stop-seconds, and offers a 72-hour power reserve.
The Submersible Marina Militare PAM01697 is priced at $12,500, while the PAM01698 comes at a premium of $19,500.
