Independent watchmaker Simon Brette’s second model of the Chronomètre Artisans is available in rose gold.
Introduced in a 39 mm diameter x 10.5 mm thick rose gold case, the curve of the sapphire and bezel are completely built-in with the case and lugs of the Chronomètre Artisans, which you’ll see from the profile view.
That includes a hand-wound manufacture motion with two parallel barrels presents 72 hours of energy reserve, a variable inertia steadiness wheel, and is lusciously adorned with Haute horology ending strategies similar to frosting, hand beveling, and sharpening of the bevels, wheels, and jewel sinks.
The dial is crafted in rose gold with a black DLC coating that has been hand-decorated with a “Battle” motif and two-tone metal arms with gold-colored PVD coating and a mirror-polished entrance. It shows heart hours and minutes, and small seconds between 09:00 and 10:00.
Simon Brette timepieces have a particular and interesting look because of a very good 39 mm case design mixed with high-end ending strategies (restricted to 50 items) — that’s unsurprisingly already “bought out.”
