Crafted from chrome steel and aluminum, with Tiffany Blue paint, that is the Tiffany Airways Airplane Clock.
LVMH acquired Tiffany & Co. in 2019, they usually wasted no time making the most of the acquisition of Swiss clockmaker L’Epée, which surprisingly passed off only a few months in the past.
The Tiffany Airways Airplane Clock measures 17.4″ x 13.9″ x 6.3,” weighs 6.6 lbs, and features a detachable chrome steel stand. The airplane options useful wheels, mimicking standard touchdown gear that balances the piece.
Hours and minutes are displayed on giant chrome steel disks on the nostril. The cage that varieties the cockpit ends with an arrow form and factors to the time. A “TCO” monogram is featured on the tail wing and Tiffany & Co. is engraved on the nostril of the airplane. The time is about by rotating the openwork engine clockwise, and the motion is wound by rotating the engine counterclockwise.
The Swiss-made Tiffany Airways Airplane Clock (Ref. 74850308) retails for $42,000 and is accessible at Tiffany & Co.
