Only Watch and Patek Philippe have simply revealed the watch that will probably be auctioned by Christie’s on Might tenth in Geneva.

Like all the opposite tons, which have beforehand been introduced, the Grande and Petite Sonnerie, Minute Repeater. Uncommon Handcrafts (Ref. 6301A-010) was specifically made for this public sale, and the proceeds will go purely to charity (to help analysis on Muscular Dystrophies and genetic illnesses).

That includes a Uncommon Handcrafts dial with a hand-guilloche swirling sample seen beneath a Grand Feu blue-green enamel (flinqué enamel method)., the dial can be set with 12 baguette-cut diamond hour markers (0.45 ct), and options transfer-printed “Solely One” inscription. Moreover, the sapphire crystal caseback bears the metalized inscription “Solely Watch 2024.”

With a chrome steel case measuring 44.8 mm x 12.03 mm the motion is sophisticated.

Patek Philippe caliber GS-36-750-PS-IRM

As you possibly can see from the photograph, the motion has rhodium plating, luscious Geneva stripes, and immaculate hand-beveled and polished edges. Comprising 703 components, the three.5Hz manually wound caliber GS 36-750 PS IRM (37 mm x 7.5 mm) encompasses a Grande and Petite Sonnerie and a Minute Repeater chiming on three basic gongs. It has a 72-hour energy reserve (with energy reserve indicator on the left dial), and a Strikework energy reserve of 24 hours (with its energy reserve indicator on the best of the dial).  Two patented improvements are linked to the placing mechanism and one to the leaping small seconds mechanism (at 6 o’clock).

Apparently, the case is humidity and dust-protected solely (not waterproof), though this isn’t the kind of timepiece one wears often — or for sporting occasions — so this reality probably doesn’t take something away.

Fitted on an identical, patinated blue-green alligator leather-based strap with a folding clasp, Lot 32 has a presale estimate north of $1.5 million.
